Subject: Battery question Author: JairyH (11:21AM, Apr 10, 2011) I know in the FAQ section it says that the battery doesn't build up a memory, and it will tolerate a certain number of charge/discharge cycles before needing replacement.
My problem is that my Outcast Jr. sat idle for several months (maybe up to a year) and has been plugged in the entire time. During this period there has been no drain on the battery, and it has not even been used during that time. Now it will not power on unless plugged in. Does the battery REQUIRE that I discharge it periodically (and completely) before plugging in? Have I damaged it by not allowing it to discharge? Do I need a replacement battery and where can I get one? Thanks! |

You have to take the battery out of the unit and charge it with the included charging cradle. There will be some LED flashing for 1 or 2 seconds, then the LED will turn solid red and will remain like that for 4 or 5 hours. The battery will be ready to use when the LED turns green.

Thanks Omar. Love the Outcast Jr. Figures to see a lot of action this summer! |

As of today, Junior still charges its battery externally. We're developing the internal charger version but it's not ready yet and I have no information on when it will be available. |
