Subject: speaker control and compatability

Will the outcast be able to play music from your dvd player, cd player, your tuners fm stations or satellite radio and be able to control all of those components from the speaker itself. Like changing stations, tracks and disc in the near future without the use of a universal remote control. Also will the docking station continuely be made exclusively to only control an ipod or will there be a adapter to dock any mp3 player other than a ipod and control it. (I am still waiting for a reply from someone in the company to respond to thispost.)

You can certainly connect any of the audio sources you mentioned, however you will not be able to control their navigation, as our products are designed targeting Apple’s iPOD navigation when used with the iCast transmitter, and with any play list on any PC including Mac’s, when used with the UAT transmitter.
We don’t have plans to change this scheme for now. Docks are so varied and so different that it is impossible to make a universal dock at this time.
